ORL win green waste contract with Peterborough City council

After a competitive tendering process, ORL are proud to announce that they successfully won the green waste contract in Peterborough. The contract is for 3 years with an option for a further 2 and will include composting all the kerbside collected and green waste delivered to the HRC at Dogsthorpe. There is an estimated 20,000 tonnes of green waste per year, and we can use the Dogsthorpe composting facility as part of our facilities.

Andrew Riddington, MD of ORL, was delighted with winning the tender. "This tender which starts on the 19th June, is a really good deal and cements our already strong working relationship with our closest local authority. The tender was a complex one but the team put together an exciting solution to both green waste composting in the region but also putting back into the community peat-free compost, available from carefully selected stockist and the HRC site at Dogsthorpe."
